Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry – 2025
The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) continues to play a central role in strengthening Oman’s economic diversification and enhancing the contribution of the private sector to national development. Through a comprehensive set of initiatives, partnerships, and strategic programs, the Chamber supports sustainable economic growth in alignment with Oman Vision 2040.
Strengthening Economic Engagement and Global Presence
In 2025, OCCI intensified its economic engagement at both local and international levels. The Chamber conducted 74 economic studies and reports, issued 37 memoranda of understanding, and maintained 25 international memberships to strengthen global cooperation. It also published 2 commercial directories covering key international markets, including the United States and Asia.The Chamber actively participated in 52 local and international exhibitions, organized 23 outbound trade delegations, and hosted 84 inbound trade delegations, reinforcing Oman’s position as an attractive destination for trade and investment. In addition, 12 joint business councils were activated to enhance bilateral economic relations, alongside 52 economic consultations and advisory opinions provided to stakeholders.
Regional Development and Governorate Partnerships
OCCI expanded its regional footprint through 10 branches across the governorates, supporting decentralized economic development and closer engagement with local business communities. The Chamber played a key role in the economic development of governorates by intensifying communication, supporting regional branches, conducting strategic studies with governorate offices, and facilitating the establishment of local companies.These efforts resulted in 573 meetings and engagements and 137 initiatives and workshops, strengthening coordination between the private sector and regional stakeholders.
Strategic Initiatives Aligned with Oman Vision 2040
In cooperation with the Oman Vision 2040 Follow-Up Unit, the Chamber implemented 14 strategic initiatives, engaging more than 300 participants from 20+ public and private sector entities. These initiatives focused on empowering SMEs, improving institutional performance, supporting governance frameworks, and enhancing regional economic capabilities.

The Chamber’s efforts were guided by clear strategic directions, including:
Governance: Conducting more than 30 studies on regulations, governance systems, and institutional frameworks.
Improving the Internal Work Environment: Enhancing organizational performance through training and development programs, benefiting 339 employees.
Digital Transformation: Advancing digital maturity and operational efficiency, with measurable improvement in digital readiness indicators.
Effective Media and Continuous Communication
OCCI maintained a strong media presence and continuous communication with stakeholders. In 2025, the Chamber published 6 issues of the Chamber Magazine, released 490+ media publications, engaged 200,000+ followers, and achieved more than 30 million views across social media platforms, reinforcing transparency and public engagement.
