Mohammed Babiker Mohammed Ahmed is a seasoned accounting and finance expert with more than two decades of combined experience across academia, financial consulting, and industry practice. Currently based in Oman, he brings a strong blend of academic rigor, applied financial expertise, and institutional leadership.

He has served as a Full-Time Senior Lecturer at the Oman College of Management and Technology since 2013, where he teaches accounting, finance, business, and marketing courses, and actively contributes to academic governance and quality assurance. His leadership roles include Head of Industry and Community Engagement Unit, College Council Member, and supervisor of professional training programs delivered in coordination with the Ministry of Labor and other public institutions.

Mohammed’s professional background extends beyond academia into industrial and corporate finance, having worked as a Senior Accountant in Qatar and previously as an accountant in Sudan. His industry experience covers financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, bank reconciliation, and regulatory compliance, enabling him to bridge theory with real-world financial practice.

He holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Khartoum and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Omdurman Islamic University, and is currently a PhD candidate. His research and publications address key areas such as SME financing, Islamic banking, IFRS adoption, corporate performance, blockchain applications in accounting, and macroeconomic analysis, with several works published or presented in Scopus-indexed and international conferences.

In addition to teaching and research, Mohammed has delivered numerous workshops and professional training sessions for government employees, academic staff, and students, focusing on financial analysis, accounting applications, academic advising, and institutional performance.

Through his work, he contributes a strong value proposition that integrates academic excellence, professional consultancy, and applied financial analysis, supporting economic studies, feasibility assessments, financial auditing, and capacity-building initiatives.
