Yahya Ahmed Saif Alsarhani is an accounting and audit specialist whose career bridges nearly two decades in government auditing with a decade of academic teaching and research. He pairs hands-on financial practice with applied research in auditing, corporate governance, and the banking sector.

Experience

He served as an Accounting Auditor at Oman's Ministry of Finance in Muscat from 1996 to 2015, before joining Oman College of Management and Technology as a Lecturer (2015–2025), where he also headed the Student Affairs Department (2019–2021). He has led workshops for Omani government bodies on financial analysis and "accounting for non-accountants."

His expertise spans auditing and assurance, financial analysis, internal-audit quality, corporate governance, intellectual capital, and financing for small and medium enterprises — with particular depth in the GCC banking industry.

Education

He holds a Master of Accounting from Central Queensland University (Australia) and a Bachelor in Management Sciences from the Sadat Academy for Management Sciences in Cairo. He is IC3-certified and an advanced user of Microsoft Office for analytical work.
